West Village · Est. 2018
Small-batch coffee, sourced from farms we know by name and roasted in micro-lots at our Hudson Street studio. Every cup is a deliberate act.
Our Story
Blackstone Coffee Roasters began with a simple conviction: that coffee deserves attention the way craft food does. We started roasting in a converted garage on Hudson Street, and we're still here — same address, same insistence on doing things slowly and right.
We work directly with farmers in Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Kenya. We buy at auction and through relationships that outlast a single harvest. Every lot is cupped, documented, and roasted in quantities small enough to track from green bean to brew.
Current Offerings
Rotating single-origins and house blends, roasted weekly in 5-kilo batches.
Single Origin
Jasmine · Bergamot · Blackberry
Washed process, high-altitude Heirloom varietals. Bright and tea-like with a lingering floral finish.
House Blend
Dark Chocolate · Toasted Almond · Cherry
Our everyday standard. A balanced blend of Colombian and Brazilian lots, roasted medium-dark for a clean, rounded cup.
Single Origin
Raspberry · Grapefruit · Brown Sugar
Double-washed Kenyan AA from a cooperative in Nyeri. Winey acidity, syrupy body, and a finish that lingers for minutes.
Current selection rotates seasonally. Visit us or call to check availability.
Visit Us
Our roastery and tasting room on Hudson Street is where we roast, package, and pour. It's a working space first — you'll hear the drum, smell the development phase, and watch us cup new lots. Stay for the coffee. Leave with a bag you actually want.
Blackstone treats every lot like it's the only one that matters. That's not marketing — that's just how they operate. The Yirgacheffe I had last week was the most precise cup I've had in this city.
